Your massage aftercare

Getting the most out of your treatment when you leave Bloom with Kiki

Thank you so much for joining me – it was an honour to support you. Your session doesn’t end when you leave—caring for yourself after your massage is key to reaping the full benefits.

Hydrate Yourself

Massage stimulates the lymphatic system, aiding in toxin release. Drinking plenty of water helps to flush these toxins from your body and keeps you hydrated.

Rest and Relax

After a massage, your body needs time to adjust. Avoid strenuous activities for the rest of the day. Take it easy—perhaps enjoy a quiet walk, light stretching, or even a nap.

Keep Warm

Massage improves circulation, which may leave you feeling chilly. Keeping warm helps your muscles stay relaxed and prevents tightness from returning.

Take a Bath (Optional)

Enjoy a warm bath with Epsom salts to ease soreness and further relax your muscles.

Eat Light

You might feel hungry after your session—opt for light, balanced meals to aid your body’s natural healing process. Avoid heavy, processed foods.

Expect Emotional Release

It’s normal to feel emotional or reflective after a massage, as touch can trigger emotional release. Be kind to yourself and allow these feelings to surface naturally.

Listen to Your Body. If you feel tired, rest. If you’re energized, enjoy it!

Follow Up

Whether you’re seeking physical relief, emotional restoration, or a moment to simply breathe, massage is a great way to take care of yourself regularly. Personalised massages can be a vital source of your wellness and ongoing wellbeing or recovery.

Honour how you feel and give yourself the care you need.

Hope to see you again soon.
